Kitchen Update

A few months ago I posted about painting our kitchen cabinets.

Our kitchen went from this:

But of course it added quite a few more finishing projects. Over the past few weeks we have installed the crown molding and quarter round trim. And last weekend we purchased all new appliances!! I guess you know you're a grown up when new appliance make you more excited than anything....... = )

Our new appliances are being delivered tomorrow so we spent yesterday moving out the old ones and painting under the cabinets white and the new exposed walls tan.

Can't wait to get them in and show you new pictures of our kitchen! Now we just need to decide on countertops...

    Looks really good. Did you paint the inside or leave them natural? I always think about that when toying with the idea of painting mine.

    I painted the front and back of the doors white and was initally planning on leaving the inside of the boxes natural, but it just didn't look finished. I ended up painting the inside of the boxes and the shelves gray to contrast with the white.
